When you think about it, technology is so entwined in our day to day life, its a wonder we all haven't become geeks. We have radio controlled garage door openers, cordless phones, lap tops you lug all around town with you. There are even cafes you can go to know and get a cup of coffee while logging in amongst dozens of other geeks. You can place calls to your home to tell it to turn lights on.

The increasing influence of tech blogs have given a voice to small players who otherwise would not be heard. Bloggers who may be shy in their day to day lives can become articulate, outgoing and forceful advocates for the trends in the tech world. These bloggers often impact the products and services the large tech companies develop.
